Megas Gialos beach

The sandy beach of Megas Gialos is located in the south of the island, 12 km from Ermoupoli and is one of the largest beaches of Syros. It is offering easy access by bus, protection from the winds, some tourist infrastructure and crystal clear waters thus attracting a multitude visitors. Its privileged position in front of the settlement of the same name enables visitors to walk through the picturesque streets of the area and visit the small church of Agios Antonios.
